Relay for Life: Help Cure Cancer

Cancer effects the lives of thousands of people all around the world and this year I lost my wonderfully loving and caring grandma to cancer.  To show my support for those working to find a cure, this year I will be joining the Relay for Life event put on by the Canadian Cancer Society.  Our team, called "For Joan", including my wife, sister and some cousins, will be running the relay from 7pm to 7am at Georgian College in Barrie.  Thats right, it's an overnight event.  Last year they raised more then $16,000,000 ($200,000 in Barrie alone).  I personally have a goal of $200 at this moment.  I will likely raise that goal in the coming weeks.  So, please pledge by clicking on banner over on the right.  I'll be sure to share the event happenings on this blog.
