Mars Arctic (The Phoenix has landed)

Today to watched the landing of the Phoenix on Mars on Nasa TV (via the internet). At times it was as exciting as watching paint dry. Lots of waiting. But when the final minutes approached it was rather exciting to watch the team at Nasa. These people has been working on this mission for 5 years and only about 50% of these missions make a successful landing. But after lots of hard work and a perfect execution, the Phoenix made it's landing and broadcast the first image of the Mars arctic. Soon the Phoenix will be digging into Mars soil to look for signs of life.
